Software and Presets to manage your Razor PDM
Link Engine Management's PDM software package, PDM Link, is a free tool that allows configuration of all functions in your Link Razor PDM.
As well as the ability enable smart switching, which allows you to trigger specific events using programmable logic, the PDM Link software can also monitor currents in real-time, so you can see just how much power is being used.
A tabbed page system allows multiple pages of information to be arranged and quickly viewed.
Link PDM Software
The current version of PDM Link is only available for Windows-based PC's, laptops and tablets.
Recommended minimum PC specifications:
- i5 2.4Ghz quad core 8GB ram or better
- 64bit processors only
- Works with Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Windows display scaling not supported - coming in a future release

Link's PDM Presets make setup easy
Link has made setting up a Razor PDM much easier with PDM pre-set files.
Razor PDM presets are base configurations designed for a variety of common PDM installations, streamlining the setup process. Designed as a plug-and-play solution, they include wiring diagrams corresponding to the file settings. These presets assist everyone, whether it’s your first PDM install or one of many.
1. Wire it up
Wire up the PDM on it’s own, or with your choice of ECU and CAN keypad.
2. Upload the Preset
Download the Preset from our knowledge base, connect your PDM via USB and upload.
3. You're ready to go
And you’re up and running – while saving time, money, and hassle.
The following PDM Presets are available, with more coming:
Simple ECU output preset
Designed for set-ups with an aftermarket ECU with user-configurable CAN connections, such as a Link ECU. The PDM is controlled by the ECU, allowing all the PDM configurable pins to function as outputs. This preset provides all the features of a PDM plus additional twelve high-power outputs for controlling lights, fans, solenoids, fuel pumps and more. Possible applications include: Street cars, Kit Cars, Race vehicles using an ECU with user-configurable CAN.
Simple CAN Keypad preset
Designed for set-ups without a compatible ECU, this preset enables you to utilise all the benefits of a PDM plus use all configurable pins as outputs. With this preset, you can control the PDM using a CAN keypad, no ECU required.
Possible applications include: Campervans, Overland 4x4s and jetboats with a CAN Keypad, but no ECU with user-configurable CAN.
Standalone PDM Preset
Designed as a budget-friendly option for simpler builds, where you want the features of a PDM and some outputs without using an ECU or CAN keypad. This set-up will get you up and running as a fully standalone PDM. The PDM will use half of the configurable pins as inputs, to control the other half designated as outputs.
Possible applications include: Kit cars, classic cars or jetboats with no CAN Keypad or ECU with user-configurable CAN.
