SEMA 2018

Every year, the aftermarket motorsport industry gathers in Las Vegas for a three day showcase of cars, powersports, accessories, new products and the latest aftermarket gadgets.

This year, Link Engine Management had a booth at SEMA and also the outdoor evening display, SEMA Ignited. Link staff were very impressed with the traffic at both events and took great pleasure in meeting many past and future customers, both from America and abroad. Two technical support staff, Jason & Scott, Detroit based sales manager, Torry, and CEO Andy Millard, we were able to chat with the public and also meet with great partners such as Formula Drift, Global Time Attack, Gridlife, MotoIQ, and sponsored drivers.

One car took presidence on the indoor Link booth over the weekend, the Time Attack R32 GTR of Juan Vargas. This car runs on a Link G4+ Plug n Play ECU. Link ECU has the world’s largest range of PlugIn ECU’s which directly replace the factory unit in a car. The R32 is the top selling of this range, which also caters for Honda’s, Mitsubishi’s, Subaru’s and more.

Pro FD driver Jeff Jones and Pro2 FD driver George Kiriakopoulos both signed autographs for fans at our SEMA booth as well as at SEMA Ignited. George even fired up his car at SEMA Ignited to show off some pops and bangs, complimenting the new livery which is featured in the mobile drifting game Torque Drift.

Pro FD Driver Jeff Jones and Pro2 FD Driver Sean Adriano (both equipped with a Link ECU) participated in the drifting exhibition at SEMA Ignited in a crowd of over 20,000 people.

Link ECU sponsored driver Justin Pawlak performed demos in the “Ford Out Front” exhibition all week long.

It was great to have another sponsored driver from a different genre, Lars Wolfe, who had his rally prepped Nissan Juke at our SEMA Ignited booth.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us. We look forward to keeping up to date with news from dealers, fans and drivers via our social media channels & the hashtag #LinkECU
