The boys at F&S Motorsport in Michigan are flirting with the magic 1,000whp mark on this EVO. It is equipped with:

  • F&S Drag Spec Aluminum Rod 2.1 Destroker. Stock G4JS head with Ferrea Valvetrain, Kiggly Valvesprings, Custom 294/306 camshafts. Magnus Motorsports Drysump Oil System.
  • Fuel system is a Magnus Motorsports Mechanical fuel pump bracket and Aeromotive pump. Custom FCS fuel cell, 8 Fuel Injector Clinic 2150s.
  • Driven Fab custom low mount header, Forced Performance 4299HTZ, and a Driven Innovations Intake manifold.
  • Link G4+ Storm.

 

The car made 963whp on 50psi boost, but stay tuned… as their are plans to turn the boost up further very soon.

 

And the reason F&S Motorsport use LinkECU’s: “We’ve really really loved the Link units since we made the switch last January. The units work great especially with our setup and run very reliably. Some of the features found in the ecu are found in very very high end units and others aren’t found at all. You guys have really done a great job with these ECUs and the support. This car will never see anything other than a Link ECU.”
