Lap times are improving every time they hit the track. A Staggering 22 laps each round in Thailand’s heat…. All 3 cars managed to complete and ended up coming 6th. Keep up the good work!

2nd place at the Sepang 1000KM Endurance Race!

Recently Link’s Applications Engineer and Master Tuner Brett Harrold visited the Honda Malaysia Racing Team at Sepang Raceway to assist with the install and tuning of a L15B Powered Honda Jazz. The project was a big success with the team securing a 2nd place at the Sepang 1000km Endurance Race, a courageous result especially considering they only had the use of 3rd and 5th gear for the last 40 laps.

Here is what Ben Kumar from the Honda Malaysia Racing Team had to say:

“My sincere thanks to Link ECU for the success of the Force GDI project. Everything went very well, Link ECU is the best! We are very happy with the Force GDI product. We could have won the race but unfortunately we had transmission problems and we only had 3rd and 5th gear for the last 40 laps.

The engine is running very good, no drive-by-wire issues, consumption was good and generally the engine was healthy for the entire race. We are very happy with the results, especially the Force GDI project.”
