Variable Cam (VVT) Dyno Plot
This dyno graph clearly shows the advantages of controlling cams. Here's a dyno graph of our 1UZFE VVT-i engine (that's a Lexus LS400 for the un-initiated), with the thin red line showing a run with cam control turned off, the green line showing the response with Inlet Runner Control activated, and the thick red one using VVT.
There is a 15% increase in both power and torque at 2500 RPM. Pretty conclusive, we think. Remember, nothing else was changed between these runs.
