These are either dedicated Engine Management systems built for a specific application (vehicle) or AdaptaLinks that enable Link Wire In Engine Management Systems to plug into the factory wiring harness.

solutions. These systems offer minimum installation, sometimes not
even requiring the bonnet to
be opened! Link’s Plug-In engine
management systems either replace the circuit board inside the factory ECU
enclosure or connect using an AdaptaLink which ensures a direct connection. This provides an unobtrusive means
of fitting a fully
programmable engine management system
to your vehicle without any
permanent modifications and a completely invisible install.

Systems give all the benefits of a fully programmable engine management
system while still retaining features present in the factory system
such as air conditioning control, carbon canister purge and idle
speed control. As an additional advantage, Link's new generation of
Plug-In Engine Management Systems include additional connectors
allowing extra inputs and outputs to be used for advanced
features.
Link Plug-In Engine Management Systems are supplied with all
necessary parts and instructions required for installation. Each
system comes pre-programmed with basic settings that allow the engine
to start up and run before further tuning.
Some Link Plug-In Engine Management Systems allow removal of the engine Air Flow Meter (AFM) allowing a more efficient intake system to be installed. For race applications, some Link Plug-In Engine Management Systems can be configured to have advanced features such as Anti-Lag and Launch Control. This can be a significant advantage where race regulations don't allow Wire-In Engine Management Systems to be fitted.
