TurboLink
TurboLink - Turbo Control system
TurboLink and Turbo2Link are digital control systems designed specifically for use on applications where an engine has been upgraded to forced induction and the installation of a fully featured Engine Management System can't be justified.
The TurboLink or Turbo2Link take care of all the ignition and fueling requirements when switching to forced induction. The factory engine management system can be retained while the TurboLink or Turbo2Link takes care of the following functions:
Closed Loop Boost Control
Use either a factory or after-market boost control solenoid and schedule your own boost map, with taper if required (sixteen zones). Either 2 or 3 port solenoids suitable.
- Auxiliary Fuel Control
- Add up to six extra injectors for fully mapped (96 zone) auxiliary fuel from full vacuum to high boost right across the RPM range (3D).
- RPM Switching
- User configurable drive. Use for control of a shift light, VTEC control or inlet runner control etc.
- Ignition Retard
- Reprogramme the ignition advance curve.
Factory ignition timing on distributor based systems can be modified in
order to control the detonation (knock). The TurboLink applies a
precision mapped (96) zone) programmable delay on the signal between
the factory ECU and the factory igniter.
The TurboLink and Turbo2Link are tuned using the Link Tuning Module. A SerialLink with ComLink software can be used for datalogging and recording configuration settings.
Use TurboLink for single coil (distributor) and Turbo2Link for dual coil applications.
