Update from North Island Champs for Midget 91a
North Island Midget Champs, Feb 2012
The North Island Midget Champs were held at Western Springs on the weekend (18-19 Feb, 2012).
We had grids 7 and 5 for our two heats and had two really bad heats, probably our worst all year. We moved nowhere in the first one and lost two positions in the second on a very rough and bumpy track. We completely missed the setup for the track and my driving wasn’t the best for the conditions so we struggled a bit.
This weekend we are off to Huntly for the 40 Lapper, which we are excited about, then the final round of Springs the weekend following. Make sure you come and say hi if you're there.
As always thank you very much to all my sponsors and friends and family who make this all possible. We will be having a few big nights in the shed, with the boys this week getting it all ready to go again, and hopefully turn out some good results with 24 cars entered this weekend. It will be a goodie!
