New Firmware release (the programme inside your G4 ECU)
New Features in the firmware
- Engine Limiting
-
WARNING. Limit Control Range change.
- This now operates in front of the limiting value instead of after the value
- For example an RPM limit of 6,000 and control range of 200, the engine will begin limiting at 5,800 and end at 6,000.
- Limits will need to be adjusted after firmware update, as required.
- Advanced menu option
- All limits, launch control and Anti-Lag cyclic idle have an advanced menu option.
- When set to OFF all limiting advanced features will be disabled and the ECU will force default values simplifying the setup process .
- Anti-Lag
- Added Anti-lag solenoid option to all Auxiliary channels. This will be activated by the ECU when the Cyclic Idle or Anti-Lag mode is active.
- Anti-Lag system has been updated to give more flexibility. Major points are around Cyclic Idle control including a dedicated "Cool Down" mode and the addition of an "Anti-Lag System Arming" option. Dual Anti-Lag table options have been added for the Ignition Retard, Fuel and Ignition Cut with table activation information located in the F12 menu.
- Anti-Lag status switching options added to the "GP Output " option on all Auxiliary Outputs .
- E-Throttle
- Now has 3 independently controlled switchable Target Tables. They can be switched via digital inputs, virtual auxiliary channels etc or in conjunction with functions like Anti-Lag.
- When used with Anti-Lag, tables can be switched to bleed extra air into the engine under Cyclic Idle and/or Anti-Lag conditions and can be incorporated with the new Dual Anti-Lag system.
- ECU communication Baud Rate has been increased to 250k
