Pclink v3.4 cannot connect to g3 via laptop

I have checked power supply, all good

already had latest pclink downloaded,

laptop ackknowledges it has the g3 plugged in but i cannot connect on pclink

 

anything i should check? laptop is running vista basic

In device manager does the ECU show with an assigned comport # and no yellow exclamation mark?

Com port will need to be under com 10

 connected perfect once i ran pclink in compatability mode. No yellow exclamation mark either

hey i;m having this same problem how did u get it to ran in compatability mode?
