More general purpose RPM limits

Posted by Tom Harper at July 08. 2011

It would be nice to have more than just 2. Currently, if you have traction control (RPM or groundspeed versus slip) and oil pressure shutdown (oil pressure versus rpm) thats it. It would be nice to have another one or two for other things, safety features are always nice. AFR versus boost or water injection flow versus boost for example.

Hi Tom,

Having RPM as an axis on an RPM limit is a bit redundant, you could combine oil pressure and '% slip' onto one table.

Also you could introduce AFR or water injection into multiple boost tables to limit your boost rather than RPM when conditions change.

Plug-In

Free yourself from the constraints of the factory ECU. Link's G4 Plug-Ins fit discretely inside the original enclosure. Installation is a breeze, no alteration of the factory wiring loom required. An XS connector provides additional inputs and outputs such as oil pressure inputs or anti-lag / logging switches (the number available depends on the application).
