Link G1 Idle Up Control

Posted by Brad Scheigis at November 15. 2011

Hey guys

We have what would appear to be a V3 or V4 here that we are wanting to run a two wire idle up solenoid on. Have wired to Aux 1 and +12v and now need to fit the diode on the board. However checking the hand controller I can see no where to program the ISV, is there a trick to this??

Brad

Hi Brad.

On the hand control if you hold down one of the edit or adjust keys whilst on the Engine RPM it should give you a software ID some thing like D42Vxxx can you get back to me with this code.

Failing this working it should also be on a sticker on the main micro. (lid will need to be removed)

On the main micro the sticker says D12WGLAG 300902.

Also, on the sub board, number SUB4AGZE 300902, what is the blue dip switch for with either ON or 1??

Thanks

Brad

What you have is a antilag equipped ecu this comes at the cost of ISC in this case.

Thanks for that Simon. What would be involved in removing the antilag and restoring the idle up control?? The ECU is in a street car so idle control is much more desirable that antilag :)

A V5 upgrade and a retune would be required.

We would need to see the ECU back.

sales@linkecu.com will be able to sort the finer details.

Plug-In

Free yourself from the constraints of the factory ECU. Link's G4 Plug-Ins fit discretely inside the original enclosure. Installation is a breeze, no alteration of the factory wiring loom required. An XS connector provides additional inputs and outputs such as oil pressure inputs or anti-lag / logging switches (the number available depends on the application).
