Ignitor and Coil selection......

Can any one sugest which Aftermarket or OEM ignitor would be suitable for a 1UZFE running a LINKPLUS G3 Direct Ign, and which coils would match. Was thinking just bosch post coils like that of a 4.0L Falcon.... Are there Any 8 channel ignitors or do i need to find two 4 channel or 4 2 channel?

you can use LS1/2 coils....they have built in ignitors and are very powerful.

The LS1/2 coils are a good pick if you are going to run 8 coils. Another option would be to go to a wasted spark setup using dual post coils like the early VR4's / Evos ran.

I have used 8 x HEC716 bosch on a 1uz with twin subaru ignitors. I might even have photos somewhere. Worked really well and fitted better than expected.
